What is HFCR? |
High Frequency Conversion Rectifier. |
What is HFCU-400? |
It is the HFCR Control Unit, and 400 means that the
load corresponds to 400A per rack. |
What is HFUT-100? |
It is the DC Control Rack, which controls
the HFCU-400 of each rack. |
What is DCCR? |
It is the DC Control Rack. |
What
is DCDR? |
It is the DC Distribution Rack. |
What is ACDR? |
It is the AC Distribution Rack that which supplies
AC from the rectifiers. |
What is the HFCR
system? |
It consists of DCCR, ACDR, and 8 rectifiers.
The DCDR is optionally installed if necessary. |
What is the rated
input voltage of HFCR? |
The rated input voltage of HFCR is AC
208V±10% or 380V±10%. |
Can the HFCR be used
with both AC208/380V? |
The HFCU-400 input voltage can be used with
220V regardless of AC 208/380V, but the HFUT-100 cannot be used with
both AC 208/380V. Therefore, if you want to replace the step-up transformer,
consult with DongAh Elecomm's customer support center for unit
and system step-up groundwork before you make any changes. |
What is the HFCR's
operational scope? |
The UV lights up with the output voltage of DC -48V
and has a simple alarm function, but does not have the equipment protective
function by means of system down. |
What is the HFCR's
OV operational scope? |
The OV lights up with the output voltage of DC -58V
and will shut down the system as a protective measure. |
What is the HFCR's
OC operational scope? |
The OC lights up when more than 520A flows on the
rack, and will shut down the system as a protective measure. |
Load sharing
is activated with 400A per HFCR rack when the electric power is restored
after failure. The HFCR's rated current is 400A. Does 400A affect equipment
over an extended period of time?
The HFCR's rated current is 400A per rack. However,
it has been designed to tolerate 130A per actual unit. The current limit value
was specified for equipment protection. Therefore, there is no problem
using equipment in the situation similar to the above question. |
The DCCR program
key indicates 400 for balance current/constant current. What does
it mean? |
This means that the current is limited to 400A in
the balance position or the fixed position. You can redefine the value
if necessary, but you cannot specify a value greater than 400A. |
The balanced/fixed
data is 54/52. What does it mean? |
This means the output voltage range in
balance (charging voltage) / fixed (normal voltage). You can redefine
the value if necessary, but you have to take the conditions of the
switching system into account. If you specify a value beyond 46 ~
58V, the output changes and can affect the switching system. |
What are the concepts of conditional
current and terminal current? |
The conditional and terminal currents relate to
charging a battery. For a battery used for 4800AH, the conditional current should be
140A and the terminal current should be specified as 48V. The conditional current occurs
when charging current of more than 140A flows into the battery. The terminal
current occurs when charging is complete and the charging current lowers to 48A. |

Under what circumstances
is equalized charging converted to floating charging? |
First, charging voltage goes above the
preset value (-410~-60V), battery end current drops under battery
capacity x (5~10mA/Ah), and then the preset charging time (1~5 hours)
is completed. Second, when equalized charging takes place for longer
than 32 hours. Third, when the charging switch is operated manually.
Please explain the
function of the floating charging circuit. |
Floating charging, in the following cases,
is converted into equalized charging and then, equalized charging
indication lamp is turned on. First, when the preset value (battery
capacity x 15~30mA/AH) exceeds the battery conditional current of
the batteries. Second, when floating charging state passes the preset
period (one month and three months) due to periodic equalized charging.
Third, when manually operating the charging switch.
What is the periodic
charge? |
In the old days, power failures occurred
frequently because the energy source was not stable. Today, such events
are unlikely. Therefore, if the complementary setting value is the
30th day, the periodic charging function assumes that the electric
power failure occurs on that date. It charges the battery after changing
to the fixed state and setting the terminal current charging voltage
and charging hours. |
How can I change
the balanced voltage value? |
Insert the Program Key and
activate it. Pressing the Balance Voltage key indicates the setting
value. Select a setting value using the up/down key, and then deactivate
the key or press the input key. If the key does not work, repeat the
procedure above after deactivating the key. Use the same method to
change other setting values. |
