What does MBRS
mean? |
Mobile Base station Rectifier System,
a high frequency conversion rectifier. There are two load capacities: 600A and 1200A. |
What does MBRC
mean? |
Mobile Base station Rectifier Control,
which has the operational program capable of controlling the rectifier
module and can transmit all kinds of alarms. |
What does MBRM-100
mean? |
Mobile Base station Rectifier Module.
100A means it is responsible for a load of 100A/.DC+27V.
What is the rated
input voltage of MBRS? |
The input voltage is AC 220V/380V±10% -- specified
at purchase - in the form of 3-phase 3-line or 4-line. |
Can the MBRS be used
for AC220V/380V? |
The MBRM-100 cannot be used with AC 220V/380V
compatible. If you plan to change the booster, consult with DongAh Elecomm
customer support center, and first change the rack booster of the module
and rectifier. |

The DC OV LED lights
up in the MBRC. |
Consult with the customer service representative. |
The DC UV LED lights up in the
MBRC. |
The UV LED light indicates low voltage
at the level of DC +22V because of an extended electric power failure. |
The BE LED lights
up in the MBRC. |
The BE LED light indicates a battery emergency,
with an alarm reporting the battery is over-discharging. The operational
voltage is DC+21V. |
The BR LED lights
up in the MBRC. |
The BR LED light indicates that the protective relay
is enabled when battery voltage goes lower than DC +20.5V during an extended electric power failure.
This protective relay protects the battery. |
The AF LED lights
up in the MBRC. |
The AF LED light means that the input voltage is abnormal,
and is a function of protecting equipment during an electric power failure
or RST abnormal.
What is the RS-232C?
The RS-232C transmits the working
state of the rectifier system in service as serial data
to the switching system room. |
The input voltage
is normal, but the rectifier has stopped working. |
There can be an error in the MBRC control panel.
The rectifier should work independently. Remove MBRM-100 cover and
switch from PARALLEL to SINGLE MODE. In this
case, the load sharing does not work. |
The PROGRAM on the MBRC
control panel does not indicate a value. Or, the value varies. |
There is an error in the MBRC. Consult
with the customer service representative. |
The RS-232C serial
data is not transmitted. |
First, check the environment sensor. If
there is no error, check it on the rear 232C port of the control module,
using the RS-232C cable provided by DongAh Elecomm. If no data are
indicated, consult the customer support center.

The U1 LED on the MBRC
lights up, but the OUTPUT LCD of the MBRM-100 does not light up. |
There is an error in the first rectifier module
of MBRM-100. Consult with the customer service representative. |
After an operator
manually deactivates the first MBMR-100, the U1 LED does not light
up on the MBRC control panel. |
Press the function key F2 to change to
Edit mode. Press F3, F3, F1, F1 as the password. Press F2 repeatedly
until "Press F1 Key On" is displayed. Press F1. Press F3
to set the unit alarms in sequence. |
The OUTPUT LCD of
MBRM-100 rectifier module indicates the wrong load current value. |
The load variation in the range of 10% between rectifier
modules is normal. Otherwise, consult with the customer service representative.
The system goes down
after the AC disconnection for the discharge test. The power is
switched over to the battery when the rectifier does not work. Is the battery
defective? |
Problems can stem from either the rectifier
or battery. One way to decide which one is causing the problem is by lowering
voltage to FL/EQ DC +23V. If the output voltage plummets down to DC+23V, it is likely that
the battery is the source of the problem. Normally battery maintains
a recharged voltage higher than DC +27V. Output voltage should
be maintained at DC +24V or higher.
