DongAh Elecomm's Power Management System monitors, measures and controls the operating status and alarm status of the power facilities installed at remote unmanned switching stations on a real-time basis. Measurements, alarm status, and operations information are compiled in a database for statistical and reporting purposes. In addition to monitoring the power facilities, the system centrally and effectively monitors the communication equipment power supply, saving maintenance costs so that the communication service providers can offer uninterrupted service.

DongAh Elecomm provides the total power management system with its proprietary Power Management System software installed on servers and operation terminals. We offer service and customer support for power management systems, as well as on-site training.

Features
  • Windows-based graphic user interface
  • Real-time monitoring alarm status and measuring data
  • Multi-tasks, multiple Windows and hierarchical system diagrams
  • Remote control of facilities or power equipment
  • Automatic controls according to predefined sequence rules
  • Alarm and activity logging at database and printer
  • Savesd periodic measuring data, status and alarms
  • Downloadable new configurations data
  • Simple set up by adding site maps and system diagrams
  • Data transmission via TCP/IP protocol
DongAh Elecomm is currently developing web-enabled transmission software to be available in the near future.

Capacity

DongAh Elecomm's Power Management System is a hierarchical system connecting unmanned remote switching stations to manned local central offices, then power management centers, and finally to the area management center.

  • Each Remote Switching Station (RSS) monitors up to 100 items of information.
  • Each Local Central Office (LCO) monitors, measures and controls up to 50 RSSs.
  • Each Power Management Center (PMC) monitors, measures and controls up to 30 LCOs.
  • The Area Management Center (AMC) monitors, measures and controls up to 10 PMCs.
  • For each system, the Area Management Center may have up to five operator terminals (personal computers).

Information Items to be Monitored

Remote switching stations can monitor up to 100 items, including the following:

  • AC parameters - AC voltage, AC amperes, KW (real component of electric power), power factor, KW hours, VAR (reactive power), frequency
  • DC parameters - DC voltage, DC amperes
  • Battery voltage - 2V, 12V cells, strings' voltage
  • Digital input - fault alarms, status alarms, operating modes
  • Control output - relay output
